Review the case studies provided. Imagine that you are the therapist treating each client. Determine the appropriate diagnosis for each case. Explain your diagnosis in detail and state why you feel this individual should be diagnosed with the disorder. Be specific and provide examples from the case study (and your notes) to support your diagnosis 1.Michael is a 23-year-old male who was referred to a therapist for behavioral concerns. When Michael first arrived at the therapist office, it took him about 25 minutes to get from the front door of the facility to his therapists office, approximately 15 feet away. He had to touch specific items (i.e., the doorknobs, the desk, the wall, etc.) in a particular order repeatedly. He also picked at his clothing and skin until he bled and rocked his body back and forth repeatedly. Michael reported that this repetitive behavior extended to his eating habits and preparing meals in the home. When Michael would finally finish cooking, he would struggle to eat his meal because he was constantly getting up to make sure that he turned the stove off and that everything was cleaned up and put away properly. Michael reported that these behaviors have started to interfere with his everyday life; including work and relationships.
