Choose a country (other than the U.S.). After reading about the country, think about how consumers in your chosen country might behave with regard to purchase decisions based on business climate, news, history, political structure, economic landscape, and any relevant statistical data that is provided.

Use the following questions as a basis for discussion among yourselves:

1. What country did you choose?

2. What did you learn about your chosen country?

3. How might what you learned about your chosen country have an effect on consumer behavior?
4. Does your employer sell a product/service to consumers in other countries, and if so, has your organization identified consumer behavioral characteristics of this group?
