I picked these roles to explore as I am a student in construction management, and I believe that this will further help me decide a future role to peruse after university. These roles are all common and vital roles in the construction industry to conclude tasks at a satisfactory level.
Role 1: project manger
A project manager is one who plans and organises the process of the task in procession, they also ensure that the job is complete. A good project manager is one who can implement new and innovative tool techniques to assist in the process of finishing the tasks in a shorter amount of time. There are five main responsibilities that a project manager has, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling and closing. An architect is a one who designs the building and works with project managers to finalise all tasks involved. A project manager has 7 main non-technical skills which include leadership, communication, motivation, organisation, problem solving, prioritization and adaptability. These skills will help a project manager to finalise all tasks.
Required qualification/certification/membership
Being a certified project manager open many roles in the construction industry which can include large scale buildings as well as working with the council to build new parks and recreational areas. these jobs do not need any extra courses you can apply for these jobs as soon as you finalise your course.

Some problems I will face as a project manager are making sure that the contractors that are working for me to conclude the project are completing it in a outstanding level as I will need to make sure that the project is not going to collapse on itself.
How would it extend and develop me as a professional?
Project management will extend and develop me as an individual through working on different types of projects such as council recreation projects and apartment complexes. This will give me the experience to further expand my knowledge of strategies and innovative tool techniques. "
