Right now I am working on integration by parts in calc 2. I understand how to set up the integral in order to start the problem, and which values to assign to u, du, dv, and v. But when it comes to carrying out the problem, I always mess something up, whether it be with definite integrals and plugging in the limits incorrectly, or with indefinite integrals and not carrying out the antiderivative correctly. Is there a pattern that I can follow that will work to help me quickly solve these problems?
