Part |. Exploratory Data Analysis Let's start by doing some exploratory analysis of this dataset. The le contains informa'on on mercury concentrations in river sh. Many rivers contain small amounts of mercury, which is toxic in larger doses to most forms of life. Because mercury cannot be excreted from the body, it builds up in the tissues of animals. Directly measuring the mercury concentration in the water is impossible because it is typically below detectable limits. However, it accumulates in sh over their lifetimes, and so it can be measured in sh, which both serves as a proxy for the amount of mercury in the water, as well as measure of the danger to humans for eating sh from that river. This dataset involves sh caught at 16 stations on two rivers in North Carolina. The rivers are labeled 1 for the Lumber River and 2 for the Wacamaw River. The staons are labeled 1 through 16 (with 1 through 7 on the Lumber and 8 through 16 on the Wacamaw). For each sh caught, the length (in centimeters), weight (in grams), and mercury concentration (in parts per million) were measured.
