$[$p$.65]$ Different from developed countries, e$-$waste collection rates in developing countries remain low. An underdeveloped collection network is a well$-$recognized barrier to the success of such collection systems. In many developing countries there are insufficient collection sites to allow households to return their e$-$waste conveniently. In $[$p$.66]$ the absence of curbside pick$-$up programs, easy access to collection centres is a significant incentive to increase the volume of returns in an e$-$waste collection program. Thus, lack of collection sites is a real barrier to e$-$waste collection performance in developing countries.
