Samrichy Ltd intends to apply part of its profits towards funding eligible payments under the contract: Multi-purpose Consultancy services for the construction and completion of Residential Units. The project would comprise residential rooms, a business centre (for restaurants, secretarial services etc), a conference centre with associated parking facilities and emphasis on green and landscaping. The facility would be equipped with environmental friendly amenities and would be completed in phases. The first phase would comprise a business Lodge with 100 rooms and business centre to be located on the ground floor of the facility. The first phase also include a large and controlled open green areas appropriate for outdoor activities for income generation via rental to the public, workable access and egress points to/from the facilities with workable parking facilities that appropriately respond to the needs of the proposed development. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2022 owing to the high demand of such development by companies particularly and the people of Mosholove city. Considering the mission statement of the organization, the CEO disclosed at the first stakeholder engagement meeting that, this project, among five others, was selected because it is consistent with the strategic goals of the organization and was strategically selected for implementation through the Project portfolio process. She again added that not all stakeholders are equal and assured the project manageress, Efya Bonita, of the fact that the risks, uncertainties and stakeholder influences will reduce as the project progresses. REQUIRED: With reference to the case study; a. Develop a business case for the project being guided by the project Life Cycle methodologies. The business case should highlight at least four distinct benefits/value creations to the project organization. b. Identify the primary and secondary stakeholders for the project and determine their influence. c. List two major activities to be carried out at each phase of the project in its life cycle and the deliverables. d. Identify four factors which might have been considered during the project selection before commitment was made to undertake the project. e. Discuss three (3) major reasons that will account for the decline in the levels of uncertainties and stakeholder influences
