(4 marks) (b) Sandra then takes her accumulated amount from part (a) and funds a scholarship plan. The plan pays semi-annual scholarships of $R (first scholarship paid in 6-months) forever. The plan earns ja = 4% for the first 8 years, followed by J2 = 3.4% thereafter. What is the value of R? (Note: if you cannot get the answer to (a), you can use $250,000 as the accumulated value that is transferred to fund the scholarship plan)
