Sasha is an employee of Infinity, a logistics and warehousing firm that operates several large warehouses and distribution centres in southern Ontario, servicing client firms across various subsectors. Sasha has been in a junior, entry-level, non-managerial administrative position with Infinity for slightly over 3 years. Normally she works approximately 40 hours per week, for a fixed salary of $1000 per week. Recently, Infinity began requiring Sasha to work somewhat longer hours, typically around 48 hours per week, for the same salary. Sasha did not think that this seemed fair, and mentioned her feelings to her supervisor, Francois. Francois pointed out to her that under the terms of her written employment contract, she agreed that her weekly hours of work may fluctuate, and that they will normally be in the range of 35 to 50 hours per week, at the fixed salary level
