Farhan who has been with the company for nine years as tour guide finds himself facing retrenchment because the company claims that they can no longer afford to employ so many guides (the company currently has twelve guides on their pay-roll) and his work has become redundant. Farhan however disputes his redundancy. He claims that his service is still needed at the company because he discovers that part of his job is now being done by a part-time freelance guide. Farhan also discovers that the company has recently hired a Marketing Manager and is paid double his salary. Farhan intends to sue the company claiming unjust termination.
