Saul Goodman applied to Massachusetts to become a lawyer. The application asks: "Please give a list of all former employers, including reason for termination of employment". Three years ago, Saul Goodman was terminated due to the discovery he had stolen from this particular employer. Saul Goodman only worked for this employer for a short period of time and was classified as an "independent contractor". Since he was an "independent contractor" Saul Goodman believes he was never actually employed and therefore did not list this employer on his application. After Saul Goodman took the bar exam, he was very eager to begin a law practice. Saul Goodman's best friend worked for a bank and sent him "loans" to handle for the bank.
