Say we have a well with 8 0 0 0 f t of 4 . 2 6 5 drillpipe and 5 0 0 f t

Say we have a well with 8000ft of 4.265 drillpipe and 500ft of 83 collars. The viscosity is 15cp with 10ppg mud. The hole is 10 inches in diameter. The vg meter reads 15cp at 300 rpm and 20 at 600 rpm. The bit has 3 nozzles at 12/32's (make sure you can do this by hand .. you can check it with the spreadsheet)
a. At static conditions what is the pressure at the bottom of the well?
b. What is the pressure at the bottom of the weil while circulating? (Bingham plastic model)
c. What is the hp at the bit
d. What is the pump pressure?
In a V-G meter, we get readings of 21 at 300rpm and 33 at 600rpm.
a. Calculate the plastic viscosity and yield strength using the Bingham plastic model.
b. Calculate the consistency and flow-behavior indices using the power law model.
c. Derive and expression which gives you K and n from p and Ty.
