Scenario 3: Tasks

Make a copy of your Scenario 2 STATIC.pkt file and name it -DYNAMIC.pkt Be sure to not overwrite your Scenario 2 pkt file!

Reconfigure the routers

Remove configured static routing protocol (Use the keyword no in front of any command you want to remove, such as the command used for your each of the static routesor start from a fresh E2_S2.pkt file and repeat Scenario 2 Steps 4 - 5).

Configure your choice of EIGRP or OSPF. Use your choice of AS#, process ID, and area, as applicable.

Enable CIDR/VLSM, if not enabled by default already.

Save router configurations to NVRAM

Ensure connectivity is present within each segment of the entire network. (i.e PC1 to Router2, Router2 to Router3. .etc.)

Ensure routing is dynamic and not static (check your routing tables).

Save Cisco Packet Tracer as -DYNAMIC.pkt (i.e. smith-DYNAMIC.pkt)

Steps 4 and 5 from scenerio 2:

Configure the routers

Configure the hostnames (Router2/Router3)

Enable secret to all lower-case, no spaces (i.e. smith1).

Set console password to all lower-case, no spaces (i.e. smith2).

Set the first 7 vty connections password to all lower-case, no spaces (i.e. smith3)

Configure interfaces, as appropriate.

Configure static routing on each router.

Administratively shutdown all unused interfaces.

Save router configurations to NVRAM

Ensure connectivity is present within each segment of the entire network. (i.e PC1 to Router2, Router2 to Router3. .etc.)
