As Executive Housekeeper at Le Culinaire Hotel you have been keen to embrace the property's new

Diversity initiative and were proactive in the hiring of a new room attendant a couple of weeks' ago.

This employee was a relatively new arrival from another country and is a Muslim. She is a fantastic

worker and her work (based on your room inspections) is faultless. However you are aware one staff

member is not happy with this new staff member. You have heard this disgruntled employee is

mocking this person, making unacceptable racial slurs about them and generally trying to stir up

negative feelings among the other staff towards this new person. You believe this disgruntled

person's attitude is born out of a lack of knowledge and/or cultural misunderstanding. Let's see if

you are able to help Le Culianire implement its new diversity initiatives.

Perform a Role Play and make script that covers the following criteria:

Welcomed staff member to meeting.

Recapped the situation as it was thought to be.

Asked questions to confirm knowledge of the situation.

Paraphrased details as provided by staff member.
