Scenario: Consider that you/your group works for a major university and you have been tasked with improving the process of admitting first time students. Before jumping to improvements in your Lean Six Sigma project, however, you decide that it may be better to spend some time studying how the process currently works/operates as part of the Measure phase of your project. Instructions: Use information from the Lean Six Sigma slides and recordings in the DMAIC method Measure Phase - Lessons 2-6 to assist you with the activities that follow. Be sure to follow the "best practices" for each tool you use in this workshop. This is your own individual work. You can talk to friends and family to get ideas only. You will be creating the SIPOC and Flowchart from scratch. Use either the Flowchart MS Visio template (recommended) or the PowerPoint template (only if you have a Mac) provided in Canvas. Submit the completed Word document to the assignment. Rename the file with this format before submitting: Student Name_Workshop_1. docx. Make sure your name is on the assignment. 1. Create a SIPOC diagram for the university you work for that focuses on the process a new student follows/goes through from the moment the student decides to attend a college /university until they are admitted. Recall the steps you went through from when you decided to attend a college/ university until you were actually admitted. There must be between 5 and 10(brief and concise) high - level steps in the Process. Be detailed in Suppliers, Inputs, Outputs and Customers. Type directly into the table below. Fill in the table below by replacing and adding information according to best practices for the tools. Replace "Supplier #1", etc. with your suppliers. Do the same in all the other columns keeping the exact same format in the table. See the examples before starting this assignment. Suppliers Inputs Process Outputs Customers Supplier #1 Supplier #2 Supplier #3 etc.... [Add Suppliers as needed] Input #1 Input #2 Input #3 etc.... [Add Inputs as needed]1. Process step #12. Process step #23. Process step #34. Process step #45. Process step #5 etc.. [Add process steps as needed] Output #1 Output #2 Output #3... etc. [Add Outputs as needed] Customer #1 Customer #2 Customer #3 etc. [Add Customers as needed]2. Create a flowchart that documents the detailed process that you will take to map
the process in the scenario. Remember that the flowchart should be 3 to 4 times as detailed as the SIPOC. Use either
