The venue will be designed for lecturers. presentations, and other large -scale events. The building needs to have the capacity for hosting 500 students. The construction of the building will costR6 million in total, which includes comfortable seating, the latest audio - visual technology and equipment, high - speed internet access, an interactive white board, and a modern sound system and air conditioning. The construction should be done from 1 December2023 to 31 February 2024 during the students vacation period.

Scope Management Plan: The scope of work section outlines the goods or services the project is to deliver. For internal company projects, the scope of work is based on the statement of requirements (problems, needs, opportunities) and the business case (commercial justification). For example, under a construction project, the build method considers the position of the carnage, material handling, together with the storage of the materials. On an IT project, the build method considers how to remove old equipment and install new equipment with the minimum impact to the company's operation.

Time/Schedule Management Plan: This section outlines the approved budget for the project and is usually presented as a total amount for the project. At some point, the project budget will need to be subdivided into a budget per deliverable or work package using the Product Breakdown Structure and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) breakdown structures. This is often referred to as a top-down budget or a bottom-up approach.

Execution Strategy: This section outlines the project's execution strategy the buy or make decision. The decision balances the companys ability to perform the work (competence and ability) with the resources available in the marketplace (contractors and outsourcing).

Quality Management Plan: The quality management plan outlines the level of quality assurance required to ensure that the project can achieve the required condition and statuary requirements. It also outlines the level of quality control required to confirm that the project has achieved the required condition and statutory requirements.

Communication Management Plan: This section outlines the lines of communication to satisfy the stakeholders communication needs and expectations. This should include how the information will be gathered, processed, disseminated (reported) and stored. This section should also indicate the level of documentation control and a proposed schedule of project meetings.

Execution Process: This section outlines the execution process; how instructions are to be issued, how purchase orders are to be expedited and how progress is to be monitored and controlled. This section should also outline how scope changes are to be managed and coordinated between the nominated experts for their input and approval.

Risk Management Plan: This section outlines the level of risk management required to identify, quantify, and respond to project risks and opportunities. This section should also confirm the acceptable level of project risk.

Commissioning: This section outlines how the components of the project are to be tested, run up and approved. The approval process should clearly indicate who is involved and who signs off.

Handover Plan: This section outlines how to officially hand over the project to the client. Although the official handover might be a discrete event, there are a number of other items to consider, for example, the training of the operators, the writing of the operating manuals and warranties.

Closeout Report: The build-method should be a component of the project closeout report. The closeout report should confirm what went right, what went wrong, and lessons learned and recommendations for future projects.

Eduvos has appointed you to manage this project and has requested that you complete the Terms of Reference (ToF) to officially initiate the project. Using the Table 1.1 above as a guide, as well as your experience in project management, present a report to Eduvos Management on how you would carry out the project to completion.
