Scenario
You are a new staff member at the XYZ Center, a LBGTQIA+ advocacy organization in Anytown, Ohio. With the agency board's approval, Cory, the Executive Director, is ready to get the housing program for young adults up and running. Cory is very excited - she worked very hard by collaborating with other organizations to get to this point. XYZ is a very small non-profit with limited funding and is faced with some hostile community attitudes toward LGBTQIA+ people. There are some challenges, but Cory believes that having board members with various expertise was key in moving this plan along. Cory is going to apply for ABC Foundation's grant. She asks you to help her develop a logic model that clearly shows how the program works so the grant application looks great.
Cory explains the program this way:
XYZ Center's ultimate goal is for LGBTQIA+ young adults to be an integral part of the inclusive local community. XYZ believes that supporting displaced and vulnerable LGBTQIA+ young adults with safe housing makes Anytown a more inclusive place for all.As part of the effort, XYZ wants to provide educational sessions for local landlords. The plan for the first year is to have 5 educational sessions with 10 people in each. The educational sessions should equip the landlords with accurate knowledge about LGBTQIA+ people so they feel ready to work with XYZ to provide housing for those in need.
Instructions
Based on the scenario and Cory's explanation above, you will create a basic theory-based logic model (see the framework below). By answering the questions 1 through 6, identify what goes into which component from the scenario above. Do not bring anything from outside of this scenario you read above. ALL of the answers to questions in this Activity are embedded in the scenario. Be aware there are clearly correct and incorrect answers. Refer to Chapter 1 of W.K. Kellogg Foundation (2004) and lectures throughout the process.

Question 3. Activities
What is the activity that XYZ Center proposes to conduct?
Question 4. Outputs
List the outputs. Be careful not to mix this up with outcomes.
