Scenario: You received a new case. During your first home visit, you go to the house and even as you approach the door, you get the strong odor of marijuana. You knock and the mom lets you in. You don't see any drugs or paraphernalia out in the open, but the smell is stronger inside of the house. There are clothes, garbage, diapers, food, and dirty paper plates all over the floor and tables. The child, a one-year-old, appears to be clean and dressed appropriately. She is in a pack and play that is clean. You check the baby's diaper and that appears to have been recently changed. Mom states that she knows her house is a "mess" and has been too depressed to clean. She admitted to using marijuana as a coping skill. She insists that the child is safe, and he stays in the pack and play when not with her. You approach the baby, and he is standing in the pack and play with his arms out - wanting you to pick him up. You pick him up and you see some sores on his neck. You ask mom what these are, and she said they're allergies
