Scenario:

Your elicitation plan has been approved by the project team, and activities are underway. You have been documenting user stories from the various user classes after each elicitation activity.

In one activity you interviewed a small group of Customer Service reps to find out how customers are currently booking grooming appointments by telephone. This use case is a major pain point for the Customer Team so you want to fully document the current state. Here is the current process for booking appointments as it was described to you:

To book a grooming appointment, first the customer calls a Customer Service Rep through our main phone number. The rep must ask the customer's name so they can look them up in the customer database. If the caller is a new customer, then the rep will need to add the customer's personal and pet information to the database. The rep opens the appointment calendar for the customer's region. Once an appointment time is agreed upon with the customer, the rep saves the appointment in the calendar. Lastly, the rep emails the appointment confirmation to the customer.

As part of your post-interview analysis, you decide to document a use case (with a normal flow and an alternative flow) called "Book grooming appointment".

Assignment

There are 3 parts to this assignment:

1. Write 15 user stories related to any features/functionality discussed for Pretty Pets so far.
   • You may use your group presentation as a basis for this, and/or the kickoff meeting transcript provided in the Business Requirements assignment.
   • Group your user stories by feature. Distribute your 15 user stories across however many features you choose.
2. Document the use case for the current process for booking appointments, as described above.
