Charge the ebonite rod by rubbing it with the fur. 4. Brush the ebonite rod against the top of the electroscope. Record your observations of the electroscope leaves using a labelled diagram. 5. Rub the ebonite rod with the fur again. Bring it near, but not touching, the top of the electroscope. Record your observations using a labelled diagram. 6. Charge the glass rod by rubbing it with silk. Bring the glass rod near, but not touching, the top of the electroscope. Record your observations using a labelled diagram. 7.
