Scope of Assignment: You are the Budget Manager at a local Community Center which is funded by the City Budget Office. This year, they have allocated one time funding of $50,000 to your center for the next fiscal year beginning January 31^st, 2019. Half of the allocated amount is designated for Capital Expenses and the other half is intended for Operational Expenses. Given this, and the information below, develop a budget plan based on the information received from the centers directors and managers overseeing the center. The community center is a non-for profit agency which does not collect fees and is 100% free of charge to all attendees. The only requirement for attendees is that they live in the same zip-code as the community center.

Desired Funding Projects: In previous meetings, the community forum had identified several projects which were rated based on community interest and city mandated. They are listed and rated by priority as follows:

Given the objectives and the nature of the programming available to the community, the best and most viable outcomes are those in which the majority of the community participates. This is mostly because if there are participants, then the center can easily measure the success of each initiative and can then positively provide results of the programming provided by the center for the community.

Procurement Details: Each of the initiatives have already been measured for cost based on one to two quotes obtained by area managers. This cost is only to be considered based on the quotes obtained, this does not mean that the price may fluctuate.

Your objective will be to successfully carry out the budget plan, and allocate the funds appropriately. To do so, consider the following:

• The city mandates that the funds be used for initiatives that involve community development and educational growth for all community members.
• There has to be measurable results as to how the funds benefited the community.
• A monthly expenditure of funds has to be reported back to the city that is itemized and details their expenses of funds.
