$$Search Engine: a program that searches for keywords and phrases provided by the user through a defined database $($usually the Internet$).$ The result is a list of different sources that could apply to the search terms.

Examples: Google Search, Yahoo Search, Duck Duck Go$,$ Bing

Note: Microsoft$$s Bing comes in two versions. The traditional Bing search engine gives a list of website links based on your search parameters. Microsoft$$s Bing, built into Microsoft Edge and sometimes referred to as Microsoft Chat, is the generative AI tool.$$
