1. Search the Internet for two different website examples of image maps and be sure to include the URLs of the sites in your response. Spend some time learning how the sites use the maps. Try each image map in at least two different browsers. Note any differences when you use each map in different browsers. Pay attention to the quality, design, and accuracy of the hotspots within each map. Compare and contrast these two different image maps. Consider the questions here in your post:
   • What do you like about how each site is using the image map?
   • How would you describe the user experience for each image map?
   • Are there any differences in how the image map functions when you try using it in different browsers? If there are differences, what do you think is reason(s) for the differences? If there are no differences, why is the experience the same?
   • Are the image maps visually interesting? If not, how might you improve the image map visually?
   • What do you dislike about how each site is using the image map?
   • How would you improve the use of each image map? In other words, could you make either image map easier to use?

2. Applying multiple backgrounds to elements means that elements are layered atop one another with the first background you provide on top and the last background listed in the back. Only the last background can include a background color. For this post, first, consider the advantages and disadvantages of having multiple backgrounds. Second, find an example of a site that has multiple backgrounds and be sure to include that URL in your post. Write a critique of this site and how it uses elements within its background. Craft a response that addresses the questions here:
   • What are your views of multiple backgrounds?
   • What is at least one benefit and one critique of multiple backgrounds?
   • What is at least one disadvantage of creating multiple backgrounds?
   • How would you describe the example you found? What do you like and dislike about this example? How might you improve the example you selected?
