The Units of Production Method 3. The Hours of Activity Method Parish Corporation purchased a new machine for its assembly process on August 1, 2017. The machine cost $117,900 and it was estimated would last for five years and have a salvage value of $12,900 at that time. It is also estimated that the machine will have a working life of 21,000 hours. In 2017 the machine was used for 800 hours. Compute the depreciation for 2017 using the hours of activity method
