Section 1. Operational Definitions (10 points total). Whether we want to measure or manipulate our variables, we want to be sure that we clearly operationalize howe we are measuring our variables. Please provide operational definitions for each of the IV and DVs in the examples below. Remember the purpose of an operational definition is to state that you are assessing [THIS CONSTRUCT] as measured by [INSERT MEASUREMENT METHOD] in [INSERT PROCEDURE]. This would then allow any other researcher to measure the construct in the same way. You should not simply define a term using words like it's from the dictionary.
