While putting together your presentation for the employee meeting, you are interrupted by your secretary. She wants to take off work to care for her nieces and nephews because their dad, her brother, has just been activated into active duty military. While speaking to your secretary about her taking time off, your employee relations manager interrupts you saying that he needs to bring something to your attention.
