The purpose of this assignment is to review the concept of Limited-Service Hotels and apply this concept to their offerings of food service and meeting space/options. For this assignment, you will compare two limited-services hotels in your area by first analyzing each of their offerings in terms of food service and meeting options. After reviewing the concepts of this module, you will visit two (2) limited-services hotels in your area and investigate about their food service and meeting space options. Some things to take into account: 1. Do they offer breakfast? If so, what kind of breakfast? (continental, boxed breakfast, hot breakfast, etc.) 2. Do they offer other food options for other time periods of the day? If yes, please explain in detail. 3. Do they have meeting space and catering? Do they work with local restaurants to cater their events? 4. How do the availability of food service options in each hotel fit the needs of the customer they cater to? (for this take into account the analysis of the market they serve) 5. What recommendations will you give to this hotel? Do you see potential options of food-service that can add revenue streams and increase market share? 6. Final comments/conclusion. Which hotel of the two was your favorite and why? (this is in terms of food service only)
