Start by sharing which rating method was used. 2. Include directions for the rating manager. Each set of instructions will change based on the rating method selected. 3. Come up with 3-4 areas to be evaluated. Include duties/responsibilities of an HRBP. 4. Using the correct format for the rating method selected, list the areas to be rated and how the manager will rate the employee for that method. In the example below, the graphic rating method was selected. I used the example on Page 297 as a guide. I described the rating category - Communication Skills - and then provided rating categories to choose from and a comment box for the manager to list comments to support his/her rating.
