Select variable in statistical learning.

There are nine independent variables and one response variable in data. There are three variables ID,Day and location. ID is the unique case identifier(a specific location on a specific day). Day is the day the measurements were taken. Location is the station where the data were recorded. I know that ID may not be included in model. Should I need to add day and location to model?
