- Managementfocusing on your subject matter expertise and professional experience gained in the field of management;
- Academiafocusing on your experience completing typical tasks related to academic course work, such as conducting literature reviews, writing papers, and engaging in academic discourse through publishing and conferences.
- Review the Self-Assessment tab in the SDAP Workbook and indicate your self-assessment for each skill by highlighting the corresponding level (Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced)based on the description.
- Personal Planning. Critically review the requirements for completing the program and develop a personal plan to complete the course work while balancing other demands (e.g. family, work, and hobbies.) The plan should include:
- A general description of your overall strategy, as well as
- A personalized timetable for completing weekly readings, Discussions, and Assignments for this course.
- Questions and Concerns. Using the Question tab in the SDAP workbook, compile a list of questions, concerns, and potential challenges with respect to completing the program (e.g. time and financial constraints, limitations, and weaknesses.)
- Once you have a list of questions, check the designated Discussion Forum to see if one of your colleagues has already posted a similar question, and monitor the thread for an answer. You might add a comment indicating that you also noted a similar question.
- If your question has not been asked by anyone else yet, post it into a separate Discussion Thread on the Forum. Separating questions into individual threads will make it easier to track answers.
- When a question is answered, consider adding the answer into your SDAP workbook to complete your own documentation.
