Molly Mutt produces dog food. They currently produce a generic type of food. They have the option of adding extra ingredients to the food to make it a premium brand. If the company sells the dog food as-is they can expect to earn an income of $4/bag. If they add additional vegetables, they can sell for $6/bag and if they add vegetables and meat they can sell for $7/bag. Vegetables can be purchased for $15/lb and each bag uses 0.1 pounds. Meat can be purchased for $20/pound and each bag uses 0.15 pounds.Should the firm sell the dog food as-is, add just the vegetables, or add both the vegetables and meat.
