Semester Web Project This project counts for 10% of your semester grade You will need to create a page or site that shows off at least 6 images that you created in the class. The software you use for your project is your choice, except you may not use Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher to generate the web page. If you use a web-based tool, and have the site online, you will need to provide a URL to the project instead of uploading. If you do the project using an off-line tool such as Dreamweaver, then you will need to upload the entire project to the project drop box. In the page/site you will need: 1. An intro page/section about the course and selected labs --this can be as simple or fancy as you wish. 2. Examples of your best 6 examples from your labs with a written orientation about your choice. Give the viewer some background as to what the lab/exam requirements were and why you did it the way you did. You may do more than 6 examples, but 6 is the required minimum. For example, you might want to use Part A section from one lab as one example, and Part B from another lab assignment. If the example required a "before" and "after", please include both in the portfolio. 3. Resize your selected images in Photoshop before using on your web site. Also make sure the images you use are in .jpg or.png format and have been saved in a resolution appropriate for web. 4. Contact info with your name and last worked on date. 5. If you use multiple web pages, please create a navigation menu to go between the pages. 6. Use CSS to format the appearance of the page/site. If you are using an online site, you should already have a pre-built CSS template. You only need to add styling to any pages created by a web-editor such as Dreamweaver. 7. Use some type of layout for the web site. This could be using a pre-built layout 'template' or using a table or CSS layout. 8. Overall appearance/effectiveness of the page will count 10 points and these points are subjective. Expect to get 5 out of 10 points for a "Good" page that meets the projects requirements. The project may not be turned in late
