Problem 1: Propose 3-Corrosion related term paper project titles, you want to work on during this semester. The topic must be related to exploring the aspects in which corrosion is useful to mankind or industry? Topics might encompass; semiconductor industry, soft lithography, electrochemical polishing of silicon wafers, electrochemical etching, cleaning of silicon wafers, microelectronics, chemical mechanical planarization (CMPS), etc. While preparing the project proposal, please follow the format: 1. Proposal/Project Title 2. Project background (importance/Why you want to select this project) 3. How will you work on/accomplish the project (discuss your plan)? 4. Is it useful for industry? If yes, explain how? 5. Is it useful for learning/teaching corrosion courses? How? 6. Expected outcome of the project? Note: Please don't exceed two pages per proposal
