• Sesame Place Philadelphia was hit with a $25 million class action lawsuit... claiming the park and its employees insulted and damaged black patrons, especially the youngsters. The lawsuit lists a man named Quinton Burns, who says he and his family visited Sesame Place on June 18, 2022.

1) Create a timeline: 
Do research to review the background of the company and the crisis & create a timeline of key events as they occurred. Start from any prodromes that happened in the years before the report of this big June 2022 event and go to the current day (Sept. 2023).
List the top 10-12 events to summarize the timeline in bullet format using specific dates whenever possible.

 

2) List key publics of the crisis to this point - (customers, the general public, media, who else???...)
Get as specific and detailed as possible.

 

3) Find and list 3-4 "key messages" 
Use direct quotes from announcements, Social Media, and/or Mass Media stories and cite these direct quotes

 

4) List which theories you think Sesame Place has used to date 
    (align these with the Key Messages in part "c")- and explain why you chose the theories you did
