Setting Norms Norms are agreed upon standards and rules that will keep a collaborative team productive and inclusive. With your partner or group, decide on 3-5 norms to follow throughout your project. An example of a norm could be: All members will have an opportunity to be heard during the decision process. Use the following questions to help you decide on your norms. 1. How will you deal with differing opinions? 2. How will you ensure that everyone has a say in all aspects of the project? 3. How will you come to a consensus as a team ifall members are not in agreement? 4. How will you make sure that all members are completing their tasks in a timely manner
