Shahril Workshop plans to use a database system to support its operations. The workshop currently has two mechanics and is open from Sunday to Thursday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Given below are the scenarios at the workshop.

• For a mechanic, their IC number, name, telephone number, and address should be recorded.

• A mechanic can be scheduled for many maintenance projects, but in the case of a new mechanic he may not have any project at all.

• Each maintenance project is scheduled with only one mechanic. Maintenance project date, time and description are needed.

• A vehicle can be scheduled in one or more maintenance projects. One maintenance project is scheduled with only one vehicle. Vehicles detail such as vehicle registration number, model, year and owners name need to be kept by the database system.

• Each maintenance project will generate one invoice; an invoice is generated by only one maintenance project. Invoice number, date and invoice total are important and should be recorded.

• One payment is related to only one invoice, and one invoice can be paid off through several payments. An invoice can be outstanding, having nothing yet paid on it at all.

• One customer can make many payments, but a single payment is made by only one customer.

• Some vehicles are insured by an insurance company. If they are insured, they can only carry insurance with one company. For a vehicle that carries insurance, the insurance company will make payment; each single payment is made by only one insurance company.

• An insurance company can have many vehicles carry their policies.

a) Based on the above information, create a complete Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) that shows all entities, attributes, relationships and connectivities.

b) List TWO (2) examples of report that can be produced from this database system.
