Shakur "Pac Pac" Afeni is a Toronto homeowner. He decided to rent out his basement to Wallace "Biggie" Christopher, his tenant at 1 Bedford. At first, things were going smoothly, with Shakur hoping that Wallace would be his tenant until the end of time, but unfortunately, the landlord-tenant relationship went south, when Wallace started dating Faith Brenda. Shakur became disgusted because Faith was simply a nasty girl, who left the basement very messy, leaving dishes everywhere, attracting bugs and rats. Shakur had agreed to amend the lease to add Faith as a tenant, but he regrets the decision, as it's turned into a thug mansion, with them having so many parties. All the extra cars in the driveway had him trapped, and hurt his ambition as a rider, as Shakur constantly gets delayed in leaving the house to deliver food as an Uber driver. He had to briefly move in with his dear mama, so he wouldn't be late for work over the holidays last year. "I told Wallace I ain't mad at cha, and I understand the things people do for love, but this situation was troublesome!" Shakur said the situation became unbelievable in January when Faith brought her dog, Puffy to the apartment. He is always barking, and the fur is everywhere. "I would need to go to the basement to try to make some repairs to the old pipes, and they didn't like me coming by, saying I was interfering with their reasonable enjoyment of the property." They decided to change the locks one day, and that he had to kick in the door, after warning them about changing the locks back. Shakur is also feeling the strain of the increased interest rates, and the kicker was about Wallace being late for payments in December & January, and then not paying the full amount of rent in February and March. He wants Wallace out, unless he can make the necessary changes. Wallace tells you that he got a story to tell, and that Shakur is simply dead wrong about the condition of the basement apartment, for starters. He notes that at first Faith was messy in the weeks after moving in, but things done changed after the first month. "The time that he is referring to was following a party and it's bullshit to blame me and my girlfriend!" screamed Wallace. The dishes became piled up because the old dishwasher broke down and Shakur refused to fix it. "He just another Playa hater because of what I got!" Wallace says that there needs to be extensive repairs done to the property as everyday they struggled to cook on the stove. Wallace kept asking for repairs to be done by Shakur and to give him the required 24 hours notice when he was coming by, but he kept showing up, unannounced, so he had to change the locks because he did not respect their privacy and what was the law too. Wallace acknowledges being persistently late and short with his rent payments, which is because of his work failing to give him the loot. He also claims that the landlord dissed us by turning down the heat, in response, noting a particularly cold Christmas day, last year. Wallace was so depressed with the situation that he had suicidal thoughts and was ready to die.
