I currently work as an breakdown advisor for Swift Transportation, which means when semi trucks and trailers get into accident, have tire blowouts, need tows and other services they call me. I set up service with a vendor that I see fits the situation. Setting up services is expensive though, and like any company- they arent a fan of spending money. So our most recent issue was that a very widely known and used vendor upped their prices significantly and our boss decided to demoted them to a vendors we want to use first, to a vendor we want to use last. The problem with this is that this chain is probably the biggest vendor we use across the US so we run into issues of just not having anyone that is able to help fix trucks. We addressed this to our boss and they reinstated the use of them but only for tires, so we were able to find a happy middle point. The organization of the team definitely was the key
