Sharon creates a montage {a compilation) of short clips from network television shows that appeared on CBS. ABC, NBC and Fox during the 2006-2007 television season. With a lot of effort and some smooth editing, she created a 20-minute clip that shows the viewer all of the major highlights from all network dramas that appeared over the course of the year. CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox, the copyright holders for all these shows, all gave Sharon permission to do this. One of the shows she used in her montage was the Fox hit show "24." After Sharon creates and duly registers her copyright for her montage, Fox shows a re-run of the episode of "24" where Jack jumps across the Atlantic Ocean in a single bound to catch a terrorist ship sailing in the Bay of Biscay that was about to destroy the French city of Bordeaux.
