Should broad-based economic growth resume in the Euro area, the ECB is expected to "unwind" its policy of quantitative easing. This means that it will return to the market (most of) the long-dated assets it has accumulated over the last few years. When the unwinding begins, you expect that:

a) The yield curve will become flatter

b) Interest rates will increase at most maturities

c) The demand for government bonds will increase

d) Stock markets will increase in value

e) The Euro will appreciate

f) Lending by commercial banks to the private sector will receive a boost
