Every time the counter is triggered, a Yellow light will illuminate and the count will increment on Counter 1. b. Count up to 5 actuations. At the end of the 5 actuations, a Green light will turn on. c. Reset the counter and repeat steps "a" and "b." d. Redo the steps "a" and "b" but this time use the count of 10 . e. Reset the counter and repeat steps " a " and " b " for a count of 10. 2. Counter Circuit 2: Develop the logic that monitors the number of times a motor starts. a. Use a green light to indicate that the motor has been started and yellow when it is ready to be started. b. After it has been started 6 times, do not allow the motor to be started again. c. When the count has reached 6 , a red light should turn on. d. Have the number of times the motor has started displayed in a counter. e. Use the RES instruction to allow the motor to be started again. The yellow light should again illuminate. f. Describe to the TA why this type of logic would be used. g. What happens if the Reset and the PB are triggered at the same time? 3. Counter Circuit 3: Keep track of the number of cars that are in a parking garage. a. The capacity of the parking garage is 10 vehicles. b. If the garage is at capacity, have a Red light go on. c. If the garage has space to park another/more car(s), have a Green light go on. d. Include the ability to reset the counter instruction. e. Would you want to Reset the count during the normal operating hours of the garage and why? (It is open 8 hours a day) f. What could be used to ensure that the system does not Reset until the garage is open
