Simulation is one of the most powerful and widely used tools available for studying operational problems. At some point in your career, you may wish to build, or hire someone to build, a simulation model to address dif- ficult business problems. There are many consulting firms available that will construct simulation models for you. One purpose of this assignment is for you to "get your feet wet," by exposing you to a simple simulation tool called CLOUDES. The CLOUDES environment is free, but has its limita- tions.
