Since the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, a lot of media attention has been given to the wearing of face masks by people when out in public. From a microeconomic perspective, why might the market for face masks be considered to have a form of market failure? What is this form of market failure and suggest one way a government could help to solve this problem.
