Six years ago Jean Jones started a business in Pasadena, California, (J&J

Flooring, 123 S. Raymond Avenue, 91105) manufacturing and selling custom

flooring for hotels and retail establishments in Southern California. On October

15, 2019, at her Pasadena office, she entered into a written contract to produce

flooring for the Seaside Hotel in Laguna Beach, California (485 N Pacific Coast

Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651). The flooring was delivered for installation on

January 30, 2020, 2019. However, the Seaside general manager, John Stamen,

refused to accept the flooring, claiming that it did not meet the contract

specifications. Jones states that the delivered flooring complied with the contract

requirements.

The contract price was $9,000 and the custom flooring cannot be resold to any

other customer.

Jones is suing Seaside Hotel.

requires you to include detailed information about the contract: when it

was executed, what the terms were, what the subject matter was and how

the hotel allegedly breached the contract. The second question is self-

explanatory. The third requires you to show how the plaintiff came up with

the damages. To fully answer the first question

you may have to attach

an additional page

.

On page 3 answer yes to No. 4 and answer the rest of the questions on the

page. Do NOT turn in pages 4 and 5 of the form.

SC-103: Jones is doing business as J&J Flooring. Her dba # is 123459 and
