Solid waste management is a challenging issue for the sultanate of Oman due to high waste generation rates and scarcity of disposal sites. In this regard, waste management of Oman has become very essential. In view of above perspective, review any four separation schemes which are most effective in processing the solid waste and also explain the 3Rs principle with examples.
