City X is a strategic city where Company Z is doing 1Lac rides on a weekly basis. The competitor named A is doing 1.5Lacs rides in the same city. The population of City X is 30 Lacs. Supply: Company Z has a weekly active car base of 1500 (car is active if it does at least one booking in a week). Competitor A has a weekly active car base of 2500. Cabs are not exclusive and work on both platforms.

Demand: Company Z has weekly active customer base of 50K (customer is active if he does at least one booking in last 4 weeks) and lapsed base of 1.5Lacs (customer who did not book for last 4 weeks), while competitor A has an active customer base of 60K and lapsed of 1Lac. If we look at demand patterns, both players have two demand peaks (one at 9.30 AM -11AM, one at 6PM -7 PM)
