Standard deviation =5100 kilometres
Brand B: mean=39800 kilometres
standard deviation=5900 kilometres
Test the hypothesis that there is a difference in the average wear of the two brands of tires at 10% level of significance . Assume the populations to be approximately normally distributed with equal variances .
