Some project tasks carry more risk than others, and if we're lucky we might have a choice to move certain tasks to earlier or later times. When there is this option, would it be better to schedule risky activities early in the project schedule, so that the project team has more time to recover from any problems or task failures? Or would it more effective to move risky work to later in the schedule, after the team has had practice completing simpler tasks, and thus more prepared for difficult work? Explain your reasoning.
