Some sport injuries are not immediately obvious, like the neurological damage that may occur when soccer players immediately head a soccer ball. To examine the effects of repeated heading, McAllister et al (2012) examined a group of soccer players, ice hockey players, and players from a non-contact sport before and shortly after the season. They were measured on a conceptual thinking task at both time points. What is the level of measurement of each factor? How many different treatment conditions do we have? What is the DV?
