Some states are starting to pass laws (and some already have) that allows medical providers to deny certain medications and medical procedures to patients based on their personal beliefs. Does your state have anything like this? How is this contradictory to our social work values? How would you advocate for the patient if a healthcare provider denies them certain healthcare?
